OV’s Path Forward...The Community’s Next 10-year Action Plan

Oro Valley residents are shaping the town’s future – and you can too!
Residents are working together to shape the goals, policies, and actions in Oro Valley’s next 10-year action plan. These elements will guide the town’s future and create real impacts in the community.

Now is the time to get involved!
Each month, different topics related to quality of life are discussed.
This, month, residents are focusing on transportation, town finances, and safety. In March,  the discussions will cover housing, employment, business attraction and retention, tourism, community character, arts, and culture.

The 10-year plan includes all aspects of Oro Valley’s quality of life. Now is the time to ensure that the town’s values are upheld and priorities are met. Join a Resident Working Group to help create a plan that reflects the community’s needs.

Don’t miss your chance to "spark action"!

Resident Working Groups meet about 2-3 times per month through May. Most meetings are online for added convenience and accessibility. Participants should plan to commit about six hours per month to prepare and attend meetings.

There are four working groups, each focusing on different areas:

  • Economy: Town finances and services, employment, business attraction/retention, and tourism
  • Community: Safety, character, arts, culture, parks, recreation, and trails
  • Sustainability: Environment, views, climate, and water conservation
Then, for a handful of hours a month, make a difference in your community!
