Interpreting the results
The Mayoral race between Joe Winfield and Satish Hiremath is a "straight up" deal. Whoever has the most votes, after all votes are counted, is elected Mayor.
The council race is a different story. There are six candidates vying for 3 seats. Winning a seat is based on a formula. There may or may not be any clear cut winners. We shall see.
