Mayor Hiremath noted at several different times during this Wednesday's council meeting that he is the chairman of the regional transit authority. It seemed odd that he would keep repeating it. It's not like its a real job.

Does the RTA have anything to do with the new Tucson Street Car project?
If it does, I would recommend that the Mayor run like a rabbit. (or at least shut up)
The first car will not be in service on schedule and just like everything else in Tucson, Rio No-way-o, the convention center, etc. There will be calls for heads on spikes!!
