SAHBA To Sue?

A Daily Star article quotes David Godlewski, government liaison with SAHBA, as saying that SAHBA is considering suing Oro Valley over our new impact fees. The article notes that Town Attorney Tobin Rosen does not see legal grounds for a suit.

Once cozy with too many council members, SAHBA, like the Northern Pima County Chamber of Commerce, needs to learn a new way to do business in Oro Valley. Things have changed. And change toward a citizen-centric town government has only begun.

Whining and threatened law suits is no way to build a new relationship. Better for them to recognize that "it is what it is" and start fresh.

Zeeman is absolutely correct. There is a new way in Oro Valley. It's the 'no business' way.

Zev said a mouthful when he said words to the effect of "take your business elsewhere". Sadly, that is exactly the message this anti-business council is sending.

Thinker,
I don't think that the council is anti-business
They are trying to make sure that development pays it's own way.
I support that and appreciate what the new council is doing
