Uh Oh! Marana Residents Get Naranja Bond Issue On Their Ballot

We were able to confirm that a couple residing in the Dove Mountain area of Marana received their ballots INCLUDING the Naranja Bond Issue. (Question #400)

How did this happen? We don't know other than determining the couple moved from Oro Valley almost two years ago, and although their voter registration showed an Oro Valley address at the time of receiving their ballots, the ballots were mailed to their Marana address.

We were also able to determine that Pima County uses Run Deck a Phoenix based company as its source for mailing out early ballots.

We're trying to determine exactly how and why non Oro Valley voters were able to cast their vote on an Oro Valley issue.

I think we can all agree this is not a good situation.

You may recall 49 eligible Oro Voters recently received their ballots WITHOUT Question 400. That was bad enough. This situation may be worse.

If we get additional information, we'll pass it on. In the meantime, if you haven't yet voted, please do so on Nov 4.
