This past Saturday, someone used a gmail account (ab8389@gmail.com) to create a (Disqus) commenting account with my name on it. The commenting account name they used was: "Dick Furash, Ph.D., MBA, MD, J". I was the victim of identity theft.
The comment that was posted was a comment that was negative toward Council Member Zinkin.
Please be advised that only comments appearing with my picture and the name "rfurash" are comments that are valid comments from me.

damn that objective thinker!
It's called satire, Richard. SATIRE. NOT identity theft.
But since you don't seem to understand it, I will stop having fun.
The person (and we all know who it is) gave themselves away as being fraudulent when they added all those credentials after your name...Ph.D., MBA, MD, etc. (I assume that the J was supposed to be JD but he ran out of room.) They were trying to ridicule you. Actually, it's very Freudian. It shows that they're intimidated by your knowledge and intellect. They ridicule what they fear! The content of the posting was also a giveaway as to the fraud's identity.
Isn't it interesting how none of us feel compelled to write on THEIR blog...because their nonsense speaks for itself...but they feel compelled to keep writing on YOUR blog? Even to the obsessive-compulsive point of creating fake accounts in an effort to keep posting!
