Bits and Pieces

The Oro Valley Archery Range is now open for business.  It is located at the Naranja Town Site. The range is open for free use through the remainder of this year. Sponsorship opportunities are currently available:

  • $150 Set of ten wheel stops for the parking lot
  • $700 Bench 
  • $1,000 Picnic table 
  • $20,000 Shade structure

Proposed fees for the Oro Valley Archery Range to be implemented January 2, 2013, are as follows:
  • Daily Fees: $5 per person per day
  • Annual Pass : $60 – adult; $30 – student, 18 and under
Town Council will consider these fees at next weeks' council meeting.  It is listed as Item 5 on the regular agenda.

The 34-member Oro Valley Youth Advisory group held its first meeting in town council chambers on October 22. Anyone know what took place at the meeting?

This month's Oro Valley Economic Development Report lists the following as under development:

  • The Joint (Oracle Crossing)
  • Anam Inc (San Jose Plaza)
  • GMG Chinese Bistro (Shops at Oro Vista)
  • Alzheimers Care Facility (Villa Fatima [Sun City])
