In other items, the council approved to rescind its agreement to fund TREO since TREO no longer requires municipalities to pay for membership.
During the call to audience, resident John Musolf voiced the need to the town to create and publish a "Code of Ethics". Resident Bill Adler asked that the council consider that public input be added to fast track project approval process which will be considered by council at the next session. This process applies to Innovation Park construction projects.

Thank you John and Bill.
I’d like to recall some interesting postings before I ask a couple of questions.
Commenting on: Commissioner Cox Publicly "Rebukes" Council Members Garner and Zinkin: OVOT said,
"This posting is nearly as laughable as the actions of the two council members mentioned.
The only difference is that these posts don't cost the Oro Valley taxpayer money. Calling a special meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission does.
There were a minimum of six town staff present for this meeting. not to mention that time used to prepare the presentation.
That my friends was a true "theft of town assets".
This was the second worse case of abuse of power I have seen in this community since 1996."
This led to some responses about Oro Valley needing a Code of Ethics based on the conduct of Mr. Cox.
Commenting on the September 17, 2012 posting: Guest View - Don Bristow, OVOT said, "Cares....I agree completely with you when you say the a Code of Ethics is needed. I started that conversation back when Councilman Garner, IN MY OPINION, dirtied his hands in the Wastewater Tapegate escapade."
Two questions:
1. Does Mr. Cox not realize his behavior, conduct, comments, and interactions with others are often questionable?
2. Am I correct in assuming the September 18, 2012 P & Z Meeting was a special meeting, as it was not the 1st Tuesday of the month? If so, was that a “theft of town assets”?
Cox's new nickname is now Elmer Fudd because ever since THE TRUTH came out about the details of what led up to the special P&Z Meeting, proving that Cox was WRONG in his accusations against Zinkin and Garner, Cox has been "vewy vewy quiet."
Where's the apology?
