We have learned from a very reliable town source that two council members are attempting a reconsideration of the vote on the Coyote Run Bus Service.Council Members Waters & "The Appointed One," Solomon, have added this item to the June 15 council agenda.
We must remember that Mayor Hiremath refused to consider the elderly and disabled among us, and concerned more with his "prestigious" position as VP of the RTA, cast his "NO" vote as the council finally agreed with Bill Garner & Barry Gillaspie, and agreed to use bed tax money to fund this necessary service for at least one more year.
As this is a "reconsideration" vote, Hiremath may see fit to NOT allow any speakers, and, if approved, it is possible the vote to terminate this morally correct service, may not take place on June 15.
However, all Oro Valley people, regardless of whether or not they require the Coyote Run Bus Service should attend this meeting to show their indignation.
Who among us is not disgusted by these self-serving individuals that are a disgrace to our community?

Do I understand this correctly? First Hiremath-Snyder-Hornat-Waters voted to discontinue Coyote Run. Then they had a second vote at another council meeting and this time only Hiremath voted to discontinue it. Now they're going to have a THIRD VOTE on this issue?
So now why is it that Solomon and Waters have decided to reconsider it? Sounds like Hiremath has been "persuading" them behind the scenes to see things HIS way. Why them? Hmmm...because they're NOT the ones being recalled?
If that's what's happening, then you gotta love the hypocrisy of Solomon and Hiremath complaining (whining) that the recall is purely a political move.
Cowgirl--- It seems to me, once again you show much in the way of astuteness.
It's already on the agenda for the June 15 meeting... Item 0
There seems to be NO reason to trust certain members of this council.
Cares For OV--- Thanks for your comment. This disgraceful action has been noted in the new posting above this one.
As I said: Shame on Hiremath, "The Appointed One," Solomon & Waters and Hornat & Snider if they support this abominable action.
All five of these people deserve to be recalled---especially Solomon who couldn't get elected if he ran unopposed!
