Hiremath's Self Gratification Is Hardly Persuasive

Our Mayor has once again turned to The Explorer in a feeble attempt to try and convince the people of Oro Valley not to pay attention to his deeds, but "buy" into his rhetoric.

It won't work Mr. Mayor. Too many of the voters have seen the way you operate. You talk about respect. You talk about caring for your constituents. You talk about wanting Oro Valley to be a town of excellence.

Well talk is just that. Talk!

Your actions speak volumes more than your words.

You want respect, but you don't show respect to anyone that doesn't agree with you. (There are plenty of examples, for those than haven't seen the mayor's bad temper.)

You talk about caring about the people. Too bad you care more about your position as VP of the RTA than you do about the seniors & disabled. How else can you explain being the only "no" vote to continue the Coyote Run. (Even Hornat & Snider, and "The Appointed One," Solomon saw the light and came around. (In the case of Hornat & Snider, a recall certainly played a part in their decision.)

Your 30 vote margin in getting elected after "selling your sole" to every Special Interest Group and out spending Mike Zinkin, 4:1 was hardly a mandate.

Consider yourself fortunate that you're not being recalled. Keep trying to BS the people, and you'll be next!

If anyone is interested, here's the Mayor's letter to The Explorer.
