Did The Potential Recall Allow For A 35' Church Steeple?

Perhaps we are a too skeptical, but when the Oro Valley Council reconsidered their disapproval of St. Mark Catholic Church having a 35' steeple, we really must wonder if the potential of a recall of Mary Snider & Joe Hornat played a (big) part in the council's unanimous decision to approve.

Listen to the comments from Snider & Hornat.

Mary Snider says: "Since the first vote she’s had time to go and visit the church property, talk to members, review the plans and become better informed."

Why wasn't this woman better informed PRIOR to turning down the request from this church with 800+ members?

Joe Hornat says:“I had no problem with it when (Planning and Zoning) approved it. I’m not sure why I did here.”

Hello! If HE doesn't know why he had a problem, pray tell, who should know?

You really don't have to be a skeptic to realize what is going on here. These two will do what is in THEIR best interests, now that a recall is in progress.

Let's get Council Members that do their research PRIOR to voting on an issue, and let's get Council Members that know why they vote as they do!

Here's The Explorer article on this issue.

Well now, Jesus just left Chicago and he's bound for New Orleans.

Workin' from one end to the other and all the points in between.

You might not see him in person but he'll see you just the same.
