Once Again Vindictiveness Prevails At Oro Valley Council Meeting

The Explorer reports on KC Carter's unwarranted outburst against Mary Davis, Oro Valley Communications Administrator.

Those of us aware of what is going on behind the scene, know quite well, Carter was indirectly venting his anger at David Andrews. It wasn't bad enough Carter was instrumental in David's termination, he still wanted to once again turn on David, who had once been such a good friend.

The other issue, pertaining to spay & neutering of pets was contentious only because Paula Abbott saw fit to make it an issue. Why? As far as we're concerned, Abbott is pretty much against anything promoted by Salette Latas. The animals have no greater friend than Salette, but that doesnt stop abbott. She will bring up an issue that had been discussed and approved a number of times, in her feeble attempt to hinder Salette.

Carter's comments are short and belligerent; Abbott's go on and on and on ad nauseum. The irony is that neither of them has anything of substance to say; even their 'base'
is saying 'huh'?

Carter's personality has been over the top for months now. He appears to hate everyone, ridicules everyone, chastises everyone, yells at and lectures everyone.

It seems to me that the town needs to have a method of removing ELECTED officials as easily as they can remove HIRED staff members.

It makes no sense that Andrews, who was well-liked by everyone, could be removed so easily after years of dedicated service while Carter can sit there week after week foaming at the mouth and nothing can be done about it.

"Cowgirl"--- What an excellent observation.

Maybe we should vote here to remove Carter, along with Loomis, Kunisch & Abbott.

Would it be presumptuous for me to say you and Zev vote for removal?

Put we down as well. That's three. Does that mean we only need one more vote?

I'll bet we can get 1000's if need be.

If it was only that easy, we could make a MAJOR improvement in our town government without having to wait until the Feb. 2010 ballots and the March primary and the seating of a new council in June.

Hopefully, after the March 9 vote, we'll have FOUR LAME DUCKS. Til then, we're stuck with four lame vindictive ducks.

What I noticed about last week's meeting is that Loomis and Kunisch did not support any of the vendettas of Carter and Abbott. Loomis and Kunisch got what they and their cop bosses wanted: David Andrews gone, and all the goodies put back in the substation. They really couldn't be bothered now with Carter and Abbott and their vendettas.

Mom'--- You're not the first one that noticed that.

However, I believe we will continue to see the bond between those four on what Loomis feels are more important issues.

As most of us know, Loomis pulls the Kunisch strings, so, that too, is no surprise.

The best thing that anyone can do with Carter is to get him talking.
It is only a short matter of time before the listener says to himself, " this guy has no idea what he is saying"
HOW SAD, HOW TRUE

As I go around Sun City for several reasons, (my neighborhood)it appears that Carter has a rather 'interesting' reputation here where he used to live; how come we didn't see his reality sooner?

VC.....And here is another excellent observation. Even with Carter's many trangressions over the past years Segal has been carrying his torch the entire time. One might say,"BIRDS OF A FEATHER, FLOCK TOGETHER."

Zev....I submit to you that many didn't want to see. It has not been hidden.
