We have extensively discussed our disgust with the mayor and three council members who saw fit to go behind the Town Manager's back to raid the contingency fund.

A MOTION FOR RECONSIDERATION needs to be made by any of the four council members who voted for the Loomis motion. It's not to late to reverse this vote if ONE of them wakes up and will simply bring it back a vote NO!
Do you think any of them have the courage?
Spelling correction: It's not TOO late for anyone in the prevailing vote to wake up and stop this bad decision from being implemented!

Art, There wasn't one with the courage to make a Motion for Reconsideration. The motion had to come from the prevailing vote and at the meeting following the vote to be reconsidered. That left us with Carter and Abbott. Much like a ride on the Titanic.
Watching last night I was dismayed by almost everything they had to say.
Good luck finding candidates willing to take the beating of public office.
