Thanks to Town Attorney Tobin Rosen & Town Manger David Andrews for signing off on this item.
We can only hope that the full Oro Valley Council will agree to approve this item unanimously.

Brilliant! I hope Council will muster enough votes.
We have a hard enough time getting our own business in order. I would hope that the Council concentrates on Oro Valley matters. There is plenty to hold the attention of our elected officials here rather than worry about issues in Phoenix.
Thinker,
The issue in Phoenix does affect us here in Oro Valley and that's why our Town Council and Town Attorney need to be involved in this case.
I'm sure you've been following the case of Turken vs. Gordon and you KNOW exactly how the outcome of this case could affect the taxpayers of Oro Valley of which you are one.
OVOT - this is NOT a Phoenix issue!
This is, in reality, a STATE issue and the final decision will affect ALL municipalities throughout.
thinker, along with this issue there are a lot is issues locally that are impacted by what is or is not done in Phoenix.
Thinker once again shows his ignorance and support of tax give aways.
OVOT, I think $23 million of OV money is something that is relivant to the citizens of OV and the connection to the Phoenix issue is directly related.
I hope you run for council again so you can be embarassed, again. Maybe this time you and Abbott both can loose. You both are on the same page of ignorance when considering the facts and issues.
Your crediblity on this blogg degrades daily.
ETH,
It's not just $23 million. I think it's over $50 million with all the retail subsidies. Maybe more with the El Conquistador.
I think I read in the budget that the town could get $1.2M more per year if the agreements were invalidated.
So OVOT, I would definitely consider this an Oro Valley issue!
Once again, Cox proves the old saying; "Ignorance Is Bliss!"
Cox joins Kunisch & Loomis that voted "no."
