Alert To Those Neighbors Around The Miller Ranch Property

We have been advised that the developer of the Miller Ranch property has submitted an application to the Oro Valley Development Services to amend the General Plan on the residential portion of the property.

This request is for a change to the land use map from LDR 1 to HDR ( one acre lots to over 5 units per acre).

The applicant estimated average density over the property at between 7 and 8 units per acre. By code they are required to have a 100 foot setback from the low density adjacent neighborhood with an 18 foot height limitation.

No other details have been filed indicating a conceptual or tentative layout of lots, roads, and so there is no anticipated scheduling of this matter for formal hearing anytime soon.
