Don't forget---Election Day is May 20, 2008.
Now that Salette Latas & Bill Garner achieved their victory in the Oro Valley Town Council primary election, there is still one seat that will be contested. Bill & Salette will official take office on June 4, 2008.
Incumbents Barry Gillaspie & Terry Parish are running, and only one of them will be re-elected.
The election will be conducted by mail. If you are a registered voter living in the town of Oro Valley, you will automatically receive your ballot around the 17th of April. The voter registration cut-off date for this election is April 21, 2008. Voter registration forms are available in the Clerk's Office or on-line at www.recorder.pima.gov.
Ballots can be mailed to the Pima County Recorder's Office up until Friday, May 16th or brought into Town Hall no later than 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 20th.
