Our neighbors in Neighborhood Two of Rancho Vistoso received no help whatsoever from their government when the Crematorium got approved recently.
Well----their problems continue. Less than two years ago, Anthem Development told the neighbors they would be building eight, 25 foot tall office and other buildings along RV Blvd. & Vistoso Village Dr.
That was then. This is now. Their new plan has grown from eight buildings to fourteen. The height has increased from 25 feet to 36 feet.
No big deal-----unless, of course you own one of the homes that have views of the Catalina Mountains, but will soon have views of stucco and 3 story buildings.
Oh well. The citizens once again get "zapped." No different than those behind the Ace Hardware on First Ave & Tangerine or those neighbors across from the 4 story Splendido.
Yeah! We know. "Buyer beware!" Don't count of your Town Council to fight for the citizens. They're too busy looking out for the developers!

When you live in Neighborhood Two, you are afraid to go to the next Council Meeting. Hizzoner promised this developer to pass on these monstrosities!
There is the added joy of the digging and grading next door to lovely homes that will stir up the Valley Fever spores to bring illness to the residents.
Wonder which will get the folks in Neighborhood Two of Rancho Vistoso first--the Valley Fever spores or the Crematorium Pollution?
Rancho Vistoso sports these most inappropriate signs that read: "Master Planned Community". Those signs are really ridiculous!
Did anyone happen to see Pima County Supervisor Ann Day's response to Barry Gillaspie; Re: Arroyo Grande?
Gillaspie said, Oro Valley is concerned about "open space." He further stated: "The citizens of Oro Valley demand that Oro Valley protect and preserve their quality of life."
Ann Day responded: "There is simply no evidence to support your statement. One has only to look at the complete lack of wildlife corridors and natural open space that exists in Rancho Vistoso."
The citizens know about Gillaspie, Parish & Dankwerth. The Pima County Supervisor knows. The wildlife even know.
If you're a citizen, a coyote, a deer a javalina or have two or four legs, and NOT a developer, these three don't concern themselves with your issues!
That is why I voted for Latas and Garner
Rancho Vistoso is not coyote friendly.
Not sure that these three even like their own .
