The presentation and update of OVM at the council meeting is a joke and an insult. OV1st requested an updated presentation and question and answer session from Vestar Project Manager, David Malin. Councilmembers Gillaspie and Abbott also made the same request. Malin refused. What a surprise.
What are we getting instead? A presentation by David Welsh, OV Economic Development Director. He will simply tell us who the current tenants are, something we can get off the Vestar OVM website.
Why doesn't the town force Malin to appear and answer questions? Why does Malin refuse to answer questions? If you're proud of what you're doing, then you're more than happy to discuss it. Malin must be embarrassed by his actions...and he should be!

Oro Valley does not control development. Development and developers control our town council and our town.
