The Az Star reports that the Steam Pump Ranch Master Plan Task Force will be holding a meeting on Sept 6 at Town Hall. They are looking for input concerning the Oro Valley plans to preserve The Steam Pump Ranch and make it accessible to the public for its historical and educational value.
Keep in mind, OV paid $4.5 million to buy the 15 acre parcel.
The question might be, is the initial cost, plus the annual upkeep worth having this an historical site, and will enough people, other than school children visit, or will the citizens have to subsidize the Ranch? What do you think?
