Goldwater Institute: "City governments (have been) completely incapable of exercising self-control.”

The Goldwater Institute reprinted the original article from The Explorer, Re: "Incentives" to retail developments. (See our posting of Aug 22-- "OV Stops Retail Giveaways---At Least For Now")

Mr Clint Bolick, the attorney representing The Goldwater Institute in its lawsuit against the Phoenix mayor, had this to say: "City governments (have been) completely incapable of exercising self-control.”

Isn't it too bad that the past, and present Oro Valley Town Council, other than KC Carter & Paula Abbott, weren't smart enough to know they were "incapable of exercising self-control?"

Read the article, and the other astute comments from Mr. Bolick here.

Can anyone explain to me why a town the size of Oro Valley has 434 employees?
