We wanted to bring to your attention the fact that the DRB (Development Review Board) and other volunteer groups may be disbanded on the evening of Wed Sept 1.
If Mayor Hiremath has his way, "it's a done deal," as he is on record of wanting to "axe" these volunteer groups.
That is too bad and short sighted, but that's his position. It will be interesting to see if a vote is taken and if so, the outcome.
For those citizens that believe your voice will be heard, you might want to attend the meeting and present your view.

Getting rid of 40% of the town's boards and commissions will allow those remaining volunteers to have a much fancier party for the same money. Will that improve morale?
