Five Explorer Letters Concerning Oro Valley Police

For the most part these letters rehash "old news," but if anyone is interested, you can read them here, in lieu of The Explorer.

Does the Explorer still deliver their newpaper to zip code 85737?

Its hit or miss in our subdivison as to whether or not we receive this newspaper. I've notified them of their delivery problems, but obviously no one is minding the store.

Maybe this newspaper should "explore" improving the distribution of their product.

The letter that cracked me up was the one where the writer said, "If we lose six officers, the dirt bags will take advantage of this and we could have crime go up."

This assumes, of course, that dirt bags/criminals read the newspaper and follow the town council meetings. I can just hear the conversation now...

"Yo, Homie, after I finished perusing the business and financial sections of the Daily Star, I turned to the local news section and read that Oro Valley is letting 6 police officers go as of Monday. Man, this would be a great time to rob some convenience stores or do a home invasion. Too bad we have tickets to the symphony that night."

Criminals are criminals because they're too stupid to do anything else and stupid people don't read the newspaper.

Have you seen the photos of the local crooks and suspects in the paper?

I have lived all over the world and I can say without fear of contradiction that Tucson has the most unattractive criminals in the free world.

Ugly and stupid.

Nombe,

I agree with your assessment of Tucson's criminals. I've also never seen such a bunch of disgusting looking specimens.

By the way, your posts indicate that you are a musician. Are you familiar with or related to jazz guitarist Kazumi Watanabe?

I am musical but alas, no talent.
