Yesterday, the Arizona Appellate Court heard oral argument in the matter of that town's summary rejection of the TOOTHINOV.ORG petitions. The rejection, which was upheld by a lower court, was because the petitions did not contain a state required, town assigned serial number.
AuditAZ Arizona has posted two videos relate to this. One is of the hearing itself. The second is a post hearing interview with attorney Bill Risner. The appeal is based on the argument that a technical detail such the requirement of a serial number should not negate the will of the people.
