2012-13 Budget Primer: "The People"

The Town of Oro Valley has 300 full-time and 68 part-time employees running its day to day operations.

The town calculates this to be equivalent to about 344 full-time employees.

A few things worth noting:

• The Storm Water Utility has 3 Full Time and 3 Part Time Employees. These people are included in the Development and Infrastructure Department. 

• The Town Manager's Department includes the 3 Full Time Employees of the Economic Development Department.

• The chart shows 7 Full Time People for the Information Technology  but their Full Time Equivalency is only 6.50. 

Personnel account for $24.9 million, or 25% of the budget. (Page V)
