This morning at 10:24AM, a "black & white" Oro Valley police car, number 714 was noticed parked in the far rear of River Front Park facing towards Lambert Lane.. Parked adjacent to #714, facing in the opposite direction, was an Oro Valley K-9 truck.
Both vehicles had their engines running, driver side windows down, as they conversed, presumably with the a/c on.
It is not known when the two vehicles arrived, nor when they departed, but they were still there continuously at least until 11:07AM---a minimum of 43 minutes, and probably longer.
Was it a "stake-out" looking for dogs on the loose, or something else, or was it a total waste of taxpayers money?
We can't be sure, but we are sure this is not an isolated case where OV police "hang out" away from highly traveled areas---not doing paperwork, or any work, whatsoever.
Some may try to justify this, but there can be no justification other than there are too many cops with not enough to do.

They were planning the next road trip with the FREE take home vehicle.
