We would like to welcome Thelma Grimes, the new Explorer award-winning reporter to our community.
Ms. Grimes first front page article was about Council Member Bill Garner's "Council On Your Corner."
We look forward to reading (and posting) Ms. Grimes future work as the reporter covering Oro Valley.
We hope she will not only report, but do some "investigating reporting" on some of the important issues confronting our community.

I look forward to reading Ms. Grimes future work as she covers the Oro Valley community.
I just finished listening to the April 20th Council meeting. After Councilmember Garner said he would not vote in favor of eliminating Coyote Run, Mr. Solomon, clearly upset about this newspaper article, commented. Let me put it this way. Solomon RUDELY and UNPROFESSIONALLY commented about the “front-page article”, and questioned fellow Councilmember Garner about his numbers which Solomon said were false. Mr. Solomon continued and questioned Councilmember Garner‘s decision about not voting to cut Coyote Run. Solomon asked Councilmember Garner to enlighten him, and Councilmember Garner eloquently did just that. Perhaps Solomon was just jealous that no one writes favorably about him.
