As so many of you have previously noted in your comments on the lighting issue, it is highly doubtful that business lighting signs left on well into the night and well-after a business has closed will actually result in a measurable increase in sales for that business.... and increased sales tax revenue for Oro Valley.
There are no studies to support the contention.
One could hypothesize that the cost of keeping the lights on will far outweigh the benefit of added sales.
