Look out! Make room for the senior citizens that will be flocking to Oro Valley!
If AARP rates Tucson "magnificent," shouldn't we expect the senior citizens to rate Oro Valley "super magnificent," and come in droves once the AARP article reaches the people?

Interesting article. My hometown is listed as #4. I do enjoy the "simple life".
Every few months or so, there is another #1 - AARP, AAA, Financial Times, Forbes, etc., and, after YOUR town has been named #1, a few months later you are #11, then a few months later #28 and blah, blah, blah. A few weeks ago I saw a list where not one municipality in Arizona made the top 100 in the Country and Oro Valley was #9 WITHIN Arizona, Tucson, I don't know where, and blah, blah, blah. So, within a few weeks Tucson went from #101th+ to #1? LOL! These blurbs are out to sell magazine issues, memberships, advertising, etc. no matter what affiliation they claim. AARP, non-profit and spokes group for the retired? That's a joke!!! Here's lookin' out for you, kid - soon they will accept memberships from teens just out of high school as long as they can simply 'get the money'.
AARP is a racket. Join and get 31 insurance offers per month.
Arizona (and Tuscon) is not a good place to retire. Look at the taxes which keep increasing.
Look at the services which keep declining.
Look at the next blob post re taxes.
Grumble, grumble, grumble.
