As reported in the Jan. 10 East Valley Tribune, our friends at the Goldwater Institute will be looking into Mesa's innovative way of subsidizing two resort packages.
Clint Bolick, Goldwater's Director stated: “The purpose of the gift clause was to prevent government from putting its finger on the scale, no matter how you slice it.”
It seems the bureaucrats will do whatever they can to give away taxpayers money.
At least we now have a Town Council, whose majority is beyond that way of doing business.
