We believe The Pima Association Of Taxpayers are being quite prudent in requesting Pima County to not proceed with another bond issue in this Nov. election.
Mary Schuh, a past president and current board member of PAT, had this to say as noted in the Az Star May 6 article: "We especially want to caution the Board of Supervisors against putting another bond-issue request on the November ballot in these times of hardship."
County Administrator Chuck Huckelberry has expressed reluctance toward having a bond election this November.
Perhaps the Oro Valley Town Council will reconsider the proposed $48.6 Naranja Park bond issue scheduled for this same election. That too, might be the prudent thing to do.
