It has been an interesting and hectic week. I was sworn in Tuesday by Chief Justice Ruth McGregor with my husband Allen and daughter Kelsey at my side. Friends from LD 26 were in the audience. The rest of the week has been occupied with budget hearings, paperwork, and visits from folks from all over. Committee meetings were suspended last week due to the budget discussions. They will resume this week. I have been placed on the Health and Public Institutions committees, which are the two that former Rep. Lena Saradnik served on.

One can only hope that our exposure to NYW will be short lived and we can get a true representative of the people of District 26 in the AZ House at the earliest opportunity.
