Clint Bolick, Goldwater Institute Speaks To The Citizens

A full room of concerned citizens took the opportunity to be informed, educated and entertained by Clint Bolick, renown attorney and director of the Goldwater Institute. In addition to giving us an up-to-date status report on the lawsuit against the mayor of Phoenix in regard to what is believed to be an illegal incentive to an out of state developer, Mr. Bolick answered a number of pertinent questions from the audience.

Among the attendees who were interested enough to gain some insight on the issue of incentives from a legal perspective were Council Members KC Carter and Paula Abbott as well as candidates Salette Latas and Bill Garner.

It was good to see there are those who represent us and those who hope to represent us take the time from their busy schedules to attend this open forum.

Thanks to Mr. Bolick who took the time to visit us in Oro Valley and to show his support for our quest to have ALL of our retailers operate on an equal playing field, which is the basis of the lawsuit.

Thanks also to our friends at Oro Valley 1st for making all the arrangements in having Mr. Bolick address us.
