Many of our readers either know Jeff & Salette Latas, or possibly only recognize the names, as Jeff was a recent candidate for the US Congress, and Salette is currently a candidate for the Oro Valley Town Council. Certainly, these two ex-military parents should be proud of their accomplishments, but there's more. Rightfully, they are most proud of their war hero son Jesse.
On July 29, Jesse succumbed to his four year battle of fighting a recurrence of childhood leukemia.
