Four Explorer Letters Take Oro Valley Council To Task

Following is a link to four letters to The Explorer, Dec 19 issue, all from Oro Valley irate citizens.

1) Doug Bracklin's opening sentence says it all: "As an Oro Valley citizen I continue to be amazed by our mayor and town council’s tax-and-spend behavior."

2) Robert Rubino writes how unfair the proposed Naranja Bond issue is to people like him who pay HOA dues for their own park.

3) John Musolf points out what most of who follow the Town Council's actions already know. "Developers have taken over the control of the Oro Valley town codes by various approaches."

4) Boston White believes "something smells" concerning the Vestar $23.2 million giveaway. He writes: "The Explorer would be performing a real public service by commissioning a private investigation into the financial dealings of those council members who voted for the Vestar deal."

The Explorer link has been down for two days now. Have they completely gone under?

New ownership may mean new or updated Explorer web site. As of now, all the
past postings we've done with links to The Explorer are not available. We hope it is only a temporary thing.
