So, if you think your vote doesn't count, that is the farthest thing from the truth.
Having contacted registered voters, I determined that many of our neighbors didn't vote mainly because of the following reasons:
1) They weren't familiar with the candidates.
2) They weren't familiar with the issues.
3) They didn't think their vote mattered
4) They didn't think it mattered who got elected.
Our Blog www.letorovalleyexcel.com might be a good source of information on the candidates and the issues. We certainly believe EVERY VOTE counts, (as noted above), and there is a major difference between the incumbents and the two challengers.
This year the election is by mail. Ballots will be mailed out to REGISTERED VOTERS starting Feb. 7, 2008. The election is on March 11.
If you're not registered, please do so. It is very simple, and it can be done in a couple minutes on-line. Please log on to http://www.azsos.gov/election/How_to_register.htm
Voter Registration applications must be completed twenty-nine days prior to an election in order to be eligible to vote in that election.
As Americans, voting is one of the rights that we sometimes take for granted. Not everyone who registers to vote does and many of the people who are eligible to vote don’t even register.
PLEASE REGISTER AND PLEASE VOTE.
YOUR VOTE DOES COUNT!
Thanks.
