Last week we asked our bloggers: Did you vote either for or against this issue in March 2006? Knowing that Vestar is bringing in a Wal-Mart as its prime anchor store if you were to vote today to give them a $23.2 incentive, would you do so?
We've posted three responses that say everything there is to say about Vestar's giveaway. Vestar lied to us in 2004. Perpetuated the lie in 2006, and continued to lie in 2007. Only a fool like Terry Parish and ex councilman Dick Johnson who was solely responsible for these outrageous giveaways continue to espouse the attributes of having a Wal-Mart to serve the people of Oracle & Catalina. That's Dumb, with a capital "D."
