The AZ Star reports that OV has, and continues to hire a consultant to assess the town's efficiency.
The cost to do so doesn't come cheap, and we'll probably end up spending in excess of one hundred thousand dollars once all the appropriate departments are evaluated.
We're not determining if these are wise expenditures. We'll leave that up to you and others. We would only ask, if it is determined that some departments are over-staffed, can we expect the town to act and reduce the number of personnel?

The cost to utilize these consultants is ridiculous. We completed a complete review of our company of 52 employees for a total cost of $12,000. This cost included all of the items mentioned in the article, and the firm we utilized did an excellent job.
Oro Valley is a consultant's haven. The town spends our money, big bucks, every year on Consultants. What are are the results? Zero.
