Two weeks ago, we reported the ugly "billboard" trailer that Vestar had parked near Oracle Road south of Tangerine, at the site of the Oro Valley Marketplace. It was an eyesore, clearly visible as you traveled Oracle Road. It looked to us like it was in violation of the town's "no billboard" ordinance.
Last week, we reported that (we thought) the town was aware of this and was going to ask Vestar to move the trailer.
Good news. The trailer has been moved. It is an eyesore no more. Now it sits deep into the site with the site's construction equipment. Kudos to the Town of Oro Valley. We have a victory for the people.
