Oro Valley Home Sales Market Continues At Tepid Pace

"In the Oro Valley area, December 2014 active inventory was 316, an 11% increase from December 2013. There were 64 closings in December 2014, a 33% increase from December 2013. Year-to-date 2014 there were 693 closings, virtually unchanged from year-to-date 2013. Months of Inventory was 4.9, down from 5.9 in December 2013.

Vella Appointed To Planning Manager/Zoning Administrator

The Town Of Oro Valley has promoted town planner Bayer Vella to the post of  Zoning Administrator. "'Bayer Vella is approaching 16 years of service with the Town of Oro Valley,' said Town Manager Greg Caton, 'and I am exceptionally pleased that he has accepted an expanded role within our organization.'

In his sixteen years, Bayer Vella has served as a senior planner, principal planner and most recently as the Town's conservation and sustainability administrator. Vella holds a Master of Science degree in urban and regional planning and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics." (Source: Oro Valley Press Release)

Oro Valley To Build Aquatic Center Parking Lot

" On Thursday, January 29, 5-7 p.m., the Town of Oro Valley will hold an open house on the soon-to-be-constructed Aquatic Center parking lot. The meeting, which will take place in Town Hall Council Chambers at 11000 N. La Cañada Drive, will provide residents with an opportunity to view the plans and learn about project details and timeline.

The approximately one-acre parking lot will be constructed just east of the Aquatic Center at James D. Kriegh Park, 23 W. Calle Concordia. Construction is expected to begin in February." (Source: Oro Valley Press Release)
