Weather’s Great… Let’s Enjoy Our Town

The weather has been great so far this fall. The town’s Parks and Recreation Department  has organized some fun family events that take advantage of our great outdoors. All but one of these events will be at Steam Pump Ranch.

Seem’s like there’s a “Halloween Theme.”

Here’s a rundown.

Haunted Hayrides
… will take place every Saturday this month from 7-9:30pm. “Local/southwest ghost stories and legends of the past will be narrated and acted out along your hayride route through the ranch property.” According to the town, this event always sells out. So get your tickets at playov.com

Monster Mash
…will happen this Friday from 5-8pm at Steam Pump Ranch. “This event includes: a pumpkin decorating station, Halloween crafts, games, candy booths, spooky maze, jumping castles, food trucks and a scary movie scavenger hunt.” There’s also a “fun run”. Sign up here

Halloween Spooktakular
…at the Community Center on October 29 from 5-8pm. “This family-friendly Halloween event features games, crafts, food trucks and a candy trick-or-treat lane hosted by local businesses. A live DJ will keep the party going as kids have fun in their costumes. Event entry and candy are free. Food and beverages (including beer, wine and soft drinks) will be available for purchase.

And, of course, there's more than just the Halloween stuff...

This Saturday at Steam Pump Ranch
From 9-1pm, with music at 10:30 am. “Offerings include live music, free kids’ crafts, vendor booths, the Historic, Western and Americana Artisan and Antique Fair, Heritage Garden prehistoric demonstrations with Archaeology Southwest, and Pusch House tours and art gallery viewing.”

Friday Night Concert
…happen every Friday from 7:30-9:00pm at Steam Pump ranch. “Food trucks will be onsite, and beer, wine and soft drinks will be available for sale. Please bring a blanket or chair.”
