The Oro Valley Town Council approved retaining 36 holes of golf
The Oro Valley Town Council voted 6-1 to retain 36 holes of golf on the town owned El Conquistador and Canada courses. The resolution included a number of stipulations. These were discussed by council well into the night.
The courses will be run as a municipal course with public access to all courses. The courses will require approximately $750,000 in tax subsidy within 3 years, according to projections provided by Town Manager Mary Jacobs.
LOVE will post the resolution and its key supporting financial projection supporting schedule on October 10 and 11.
