The Town of Marana is the lead agency for the Tangerine Road widening project. They have chosen a contractor and are currently 90% complete with their plans. The Oro Valley Scenic Corridor: Kneader's Bakery Coming To Oro Valley
Apparantly, the business community thinks Oro Valley nees yet another "Bakery-Cafe." This time it's "Kneaders". It will be on the east side of Oracle Road, south of Linda Vista. It will be in front of the apartments called "El Corredor." Kneaders will be about 4,100 square feet. It will have inside and outside eating as well as a drive thru.

Kneaders is a franchise chain, operating in some Western states. It has one location in Tucson on Wilmot. Offerings include such healthy delights as their several "Kneaders Famous" sandwiches, the all important Panini in various 'ingredients', a crab roll, and a Tuscan sandwich.

The restaurant will be sited within 100 feet of Oracle Road.

Can anyone explain to us what happened to maintaining Oracle Road scenic corridor?

Kneaders will likely bring yet more low paying retail jobs to our community.

It is interesting to see that Hornat wants to see 4 more years of one of the region's worst elected officials."
