Oro Valley Seeks To Fill Planning and Zoning Commission Vacancy

The following is from an Oro Valley Press Release dated April 23:

"The Town of Oro Valley is now accepting applications for volunteers to fill a vacancy on the Planning & Zoning Commission. The term will expire 12/31/13.

Applicants must be residents of the Town of Oro Valley and must attend the Town’s Citizen Planning Institute during their term, if they have not already done so.

The seven-member Planning and Zoning Commission meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. It holds public meetings and makes recommendations to the Town Council on all matters relating to the creation of zoning districts, the enforcement of zoning regulations, amendments to all zoning ordinances and any other matter within the scope of the zoning power.

Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. They are available at the Oro Valley Town Hall, 11000 N. La Cañada Drive, or online."
