Proposed Mine's Lighting Holds Risk For Astronomy

That's the headline in the July 5 AZ Star.

Of course the Rosemont folks say they'll do things to "mitigate the effects." Yeah. Sure!

Too bad Hiremath, Hornat, Snider, Waters & Solomon refused to allow any speakers to address this issue at the last council meeting.

Oh no! These 5 were in too much of a dither to vote on rescinding a more than four year old resolution where Oro Valley joined in to strongly oppose this mine.

So now, thanks to these five, this mine will not only have a negative impact on our environment, our wildlife and our water aquifer; it will impact the astronomy that brings millions of dollars to the area.

Once again, these 5 "rushed to judgement" without considering the ramifications.

Add this to the multitude of reasons why a RECALL OF HORNAT & SNIDER IS MANDATORY!

Here's the AZ Star article.
