As we noted in a prior posting, the Mayor & Council majority appear to find it expeditious to raise taxes & fees on its citizens WITHOUT first cutting expenditures that deserve to be cut.

If the town is serious about doing something to alleviate the budget shortfall, they need look no further than Town Hall itself.

In a future posting, we'll point out some of the obvious expenditures that can and should be cutback BEFORE you tax the citizens.

Don't be surprised if some of the cuts pertain to the operation of our Police Department, and the policies pertaining to the employees.

If our readers wish to note some of their suggested cuts, please feel free to do so here.
