As reported in the front page headline of the Nov 15 Az Star, Pima County has told the Metropolitan Tucson Convention & Visitors Bureau, no more funds until the county knows where the money goes.
We've been saying that Oro Valley ought to take the same position with MTCVB & TREO (Tucson Regional Economic Opportunities).
Any reasonable person would want to know how its money is being spent when donated, and whether or not it is getting value in return.
It's about time Oro Valley did just that with OUR money.
