As a result of the Super Majority on the Oro Valley Council voting to allow more businesses to have "special" dispensation on signs, we are seeing, and will see more signs & banners throughout the community.
One prominent business on Oracle road just north of El Conquistador Way not only has a banner on the wall prominently displayed, but two others hanging from the trees.
It may help the business, but it surely doesn't help the image of Oro Valley being an upscale, affluent community.
But then again, who amongst us really cares?
Certainly not the mayor and the majority of the council!
