For our early risers, please tune in tomorrow (Sat--March 1) at 7:00AM.
Our Oro Valley neighbor Chris DeSimone will interview Bill Garner & Salette Latas on his radio show---"Business & Banter" 690AM Dial at 7:00 AM
For those neighbors who have not yet voted, this will be a good opportunity to hear Bill & Salette, and see why we enthusiastically endorse them for Oro Valley Town Council.
For those interested, Chris takes phone calls, so you can ask Bill and/or Salette any question of concern.

Caution!!! Oro Valley Council Meeting Wed. Mar 5--Re: Arroyo Grande General Plan Amendment
CAUTION---- If you have any concerns about Oro Valley's potential annexation of the area north known as Arroyo Grande, you have reason to worry.
Wed. March 5 @ 7:00PM---- The Council will consider amending our General Plan.
If you worry about where the water will come from; if you worry about where the traffic will go; if you worry about the wildlife corridor; if you worry about the definition of "open space," if you worry about another 15,000+ homes----you may want to attend this Council meeting.
Whether or not the majority of the Council will listen to the people is another issue, but you may want your concerns noted for the record.
Item #6 (May be moved up on agenda)

As reported in the Feb 29 Business section of The Az Star, it is pointed out that a lot of people do not trust Oro Valley's potential annexation of Arroyo Grande.
When Mayor Paul Loomis addressed a crowd of more than 100 people in Catalina, he received sneers & laughter when he said, "the move has taken some of the uncertainty out of your future."
Pima County Supervisor, Ann Day stated, "There is no guarantee that 68% will remain open space other than Oro Valley saying 'trust us'."
Also, Pima County Administrator, Chuck Huckelberry noted he too is concerned that the State Lands Department has not defined what open space would be.
