Congratulations To Our New State Representative---Nancy Young Wright

Nancy Young Wright of Oro Valley took the oath Tuesday as a state representative to fill a Legislative District 26 vacancy created by Lena Saradnik's resignation.

Arizona Supreme Court Justice Ruth V. McGregor administered the oath to Young Wright during a ceremony on the House floor.

Young Wright is a former Amphitheater Unified School District board member. She was appointed by the Pima County Board of Supervisors on Friday.

Young Wright was among three nominees recommended by Democratic Party activists to replace Saradnik, who resigned because she's recovering from a stroke.
