I would encourage all our friends & neighbors to read the article by reporter Lourdes Medrano that will be in the Wednesday edition (Jan 16) Arizona Star.
It concerns Oro Valley letting me know that my "organization" (my blog) must file a Statement of Organization as a Political Committee as I have endorsed Salette Latas & Bill Garner for Town Council.
I refused, and on Dec. 17 the acting town attorney advised me they would solicit an outside law firm for an opinion. I have yet to be advised of the response OV received.
I will post a link to the article on the blog for those of you who may miss this story which really addresses the issue of Freedom Of Speech.
